solo: bride of the sword
A sword dance solo oozing with danger, based on skillful control of the body and the instrument. Inspired by the story of the cursed sword, the number is set to the song The Bleeding Baroness by the band Candlemass. This metal belly dance performance requires a minimum performance space of 3m x 3m.
solo: gothic bellydance
A soft and dark Gothic Bellydance solo, with a sword dance section adding a touch of elegance. The dark electronic song creates a hypnotic atmosphere, punctuated by the sensual movement of the dancer. If you are looking for a fatal twist to your evening, this number is for you! This solo requires a minimum of 3m x 3m performance space.
solo: metal bellydance
A mirage-like world where the dancer’s refined body control and flexibility come into their own. Choreographed to “Downgrade Desert” by Igorrr, this piece captivates with its smooth, flowing quality and surprising power that builds as the performance unfolds. This is metal belly dance at its most beautiful.
solo: darker thoughts
A delicate yet powerful solo that grows from a melancholic beginning into a striking and moving climax. The piece is inspired by themes of feeling lost and finding one’s way again. Choreographed to “Darker Thoughts” by Paradise Lost, this performance has moved audiences both in Finland and abroad. Maria’s personal favorite!

This metal belly dance trio offers a versatile repertoire of performances! Kaven brings everything from moshing energy and lyrical storytelling to moving dancer dynamics and explosive power. They have performed on stages such as Saarihelvetti and Nordic Metal Cruise, as well as at various dance festivals. An unforgettable show is guaranteed at every Kaven performance!
